Michael ''Pete'' Brown, 63, departed this life in Jonesboro on Thursday, May 18, 2023. He was born in Osceola on January 27, 1960 to Hollis ''Buster'' Brown and Esther Louise Mortenson Brown. Pete was a true outdoorsman whom loved fishing, hunting, and riding his four wheeler. He loved watching his Razorbacks and the Cincinatti Reds. Pete is survived by his life long love, Karen Brown; sons: Josh (Jona) Brown, Cody (Nicole) Brown; daughter: Megan (Tim) Buchanan; grandchildren: Austin Buchanan, Dakoda Buchanan, Gabriella Buchanan, Caden Brown, Brynn Thompson, Wesley Thompson, Walker Brown, and Weston Brown; brothers: Albert (Marilyn) Brown and Tony Brown; sister: Sharon Gann. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother: Paul Brown and sisters: Phillis Brown and Gloria Jane Brown. A Visitation will be held at Roller-Swift Funeral Home on Tuesday May 23, 2023 from 2:00pm to 3:00pm. The funeral service will follow at 3:00pm. Internment: Caraway Cemetery. I was saddened to hear of Pete's passing. The entire Brown family meant the world to me as a kid growing up in Dyess. They lived just two houses from us and I was at their house almost everyday. I

I am so very sorry for y'all's loss. Pete was a great man. I will truly miss him. I met Pete through Donald. He was one of Donalds best friends. Years went by and I considered Pete as one of my best friends as well. Since Donald has passed away he has been by numerous times just to see if I was ok. I'm sure gonna miss him!
