Irvin "Chris" Carlow, 81, of Marianna, Arkansas passed away peacefully Friday, May 19, 2023 in Memphis, Tennessee. He was born October 23, 1941 to Irvin Cristobal Carlow Sr. and Willester Matthews Carlow in Marianna, Arkansas.
He is survived by his wife of sixty-three years, Patsy Carlow of the home; three sons, Vin Toby Carlow of Marianna, Arkansas, Bill Carlow (Kim) of Athens, Texas, Jon Carlow (Angela) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren, Christopher Carlow (Yeini), Justin Carlow (Jordan), A.J. Carlow, Hannah Chism (Nick), Madison Carlow, Conner Carlow and Kaitlyn Carlow; five great-grandchildren, Ryder Carlow, Layla Carlow, Emilia Carlow, Whitt Carlow and Sully Carlow and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, James Carlow and two brothers, Carter Raymond Carlow and William "Bill" Carlow.
Mr. Carlow had a passion for flying. He loved it so much he became an instructor. He graduated from T.A. Furtrall. He loved air plane modeling and anything electrical with his hands. He also enjoyed playing drums and toured in England (UK) with his band.

Uncle Chris will be greatly missed. He served his country with dignity and honor. He loved Aunt Pat and his family deeply and enjoyed doing life with them. May our Lord God provide his family and many friends with His peace and comfort during this difficult time and fill their hearts with a flood of precious memories.
