Sheila Diane Parks of Bono, AR passed away Thursday, May 18, 2023 at her home, at the age of 66. She was born September 27, 1956 in Marked Tree, AR to Willie and Flora Mae (Stacks) Arnold. Sheila spent the last 20 years as a homemaker, but in her youth, she worked in the nursing field. She was a member of Old Enterprise General Baptist Church. She loved to socialize, read, play games on her iPad and most of all, spend time with her grandkids.
Sheila was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Michael Arnold and Roger Arnold and two sisters, Bonnie Mae Rhine and Willie Mae Parks.
Those left behind to cherish the wonderful memories of Sheila include her husband of 50 years, Glendon "Butch" Parks; three daughters, Alethia Medcalf Sirmon, Kim (Brian) Dunaway and Christina (Jim) Liebe; grandchildren, Julie Roebuck, Hannah Medcalf, Kayleigh Medcalf, Austin Dunaway, Tyler Dunaway, Aaron (Kaira) Hoover, Ryan (Melanie) Liebe, Alexandria (Daniel) Holland, Katelynn Liebe and Douglas Liebe; 12 great-grandchildren and many loved ones, friends and family.
Chapel services will be 11 am Monday, May 22, 2023 at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 West Washington Avenue in Jonesboro, AR with Jerry Thompson and Bobby Wade officiating. Burial will follow at Clark Cemetery in Alicia, AR.
Visitation will precede the service from 10 am to 11 am.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Austin Dunaway, Tyler Dunaway, Aaron Hoover, Ryan Liebe, Greg Arender, Jack Daniel and Douglas Liebe.
