Josey Boyd, 80, of Jonesboro, AR, passed away on Monday, May 8, 2023, at her home. Josey was born on September 22, 1942, in Paron, AR, to Jada and Liza (Rickard) Louallen. Josey worked as a hairdresser before retiring. She loved watching western movies.
Josey was accompanied in death by her loving husband of over 50 years, Larry. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Mark Boyd; 8 sisters and 1 brother.
Those left behind to cherish the memory of Josey include her daughter, Amber Boyd and her husband Jeff Taylor; a brother, Gene Louallen; and many nieces, nephews, and loved ones.
Services are private.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made in Josey's name to the Food Bank of Northeast Arkansas.
Arrangements are under the care of Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home of Jonesboro.
