Billy Van Davis, 76, of Maynard, AR passed away Thursday, May 11, 2023 at his home. He was born April 2, 1947 in Hughes, AR to Van Eugene and Agnes Irene (Clements) Davis. He worked as an auto body mechanic until retiring. He was of the Baptist belief and loved cars, dirt track and street racing.
Billy was preceded in death by his parents; two granddaughters, Felicia Davis and Andrea Benham; two grandsons, Zaden Davis and Spencer Garrett and six brothers, Odel Davis, Thomas Davis, James Davis, Robert Davis, Wallace Davis and Van Davis.
Those left behind to cherish the wonderful memories of Billy include six daughters, Renee (Christopher) Stewart, Ann (Mike) McQueen, Sandra Neal, Shelia (David) Garner, Brandy (Jerry) Wells and Kayla Davis; 22 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Henry and David Davis and three sisters, Maudie, Louise and Mary.
Graveside services will be 2:30 pm Monday, May 15, 2023 at the Oak Forrest Cemetery in Black Rock, AR with Cody Slusser officiating.
Pallbearers will include Justin McLemore, Timothy Neal, Anthony Neal, Julius Roberson, Charles Roberson, Cody Slusser, Herschel Davis and Ethan Wagner.
James Jones, US Army National Guard, will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
Visitation will be Sunday evening from 5pm to 7pm at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 West Washington Avenue in Jonesboro.
