Donna Marie Yerkey, age 51, of Welcome Home, Arkansas passed from this life on Friday, April 28th, 2023 at the home of her son in Tilly, Arkansas. She was born in West Memphis, Arkansas on March 13th, 1972 to Thomas Martin Yerkey and Florence Mildred LaBryer Yerkey.
Donna was a free spirit who was a true "hippie" at heart. She loved going barefoot, wearing her long hippie dresses and taking long walks by the creek. She loved nature and being outdoors. She and her children went on many outdoor adventures in the beautiful Ozark outdoors. She enjoyed finding unique rocks, saving and sharing them. Donna was very crafty and could make beautiful jewelry. Her artistic soul made her an excellent painter and sketcher also. She was an avid animal lover, especially her dog and her cats. She was very family oriented and time spent with her children and grandbabies was one of her greatest joys.
Survivors include her children, Harley Yerkey of Tilly and Haley Martinez Coto (Jose) of Russellville; her grandbabies, June Marie Yerkey, Maddie Joy Florence Willis, Shaddix Moudy, Adalynn Martinez Coto, Lydia Martinez Cota and Andrew Martinez Coto; her siblings, Winona Gayle Connor (Robert) of Lamar, Lavona Sue Clanton (Danny) of Golden, MO, Thomas Wayne Yerkey (Carla) of Cabot, Sandra Lee Rudder (Junior) of Hector, Vicky Kay Yerkey of Tilly, Calvin Martin Yerkey (Teresa) of AK and Ronnie O'Dell Yerkey (Amelia) of Welcome Home and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who will also mourn her passing.
Donna is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Florence Yerkey.
Memorial services for Donna will be 12:00 PM Sunday, May 7th, 2023 at Witts Springs Pavilion in Witts Springs, Arkansas.

You'll always be remembered in every Bon Jovi song and batch of Spanish rice that gets us along. I'll see you in the river bed rocks and sunny day walks. Your essence flowing through the trees and wildflowers. I'll hear your laughter hidden in among the leaves in spring showers. Your memory will taunt me every time I add ice to my coffee as I wake up. Donna was all her siblings rolled up in one I think. That means 7 personalities in one. She could make me laugh until I cried and so mad I cried. There will never be another like my baby sister. She has her angel wings now!
