Stephen Wayne Hanley, 57, of Jonesboro, passed away Monday, April 24, 2023. He was born August 1, 1965 in Jonesboro to Leroy and Betty (Collins) Hanley. Steve worked for Emerson Electric until retirement. He loved fishing and was a 49'ers football fan. Steve was of the Christian faith.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Sherry Bowden; and his step-father, Monroe Spencer.
Those left behind to cherish the wonderful memories of Steve include his daughter, Ariel Wines; two brothers, Phillip Hanley and Leon Hanley; three aunts, Catherine Clayton, Lois Carter and Francies Schultz; a nephew, Bodey Hanley and a niece T.J. Hanley.
Graveside services will be 1 pm Friday, April 28, 2023 at Pine Log Cemetery in Brookland with Louis Blanchard officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home.
No visitation is scheduled.

I am so truly happy that we reconnected last year and became closer than I ever thought possible cuz... I'm truly broken hearted that I didn't make it in time to get that hug but grateful ur no longer suffering and are with your wife again...
