Butch Copeland of Searcy, passed away peacefully on April 25, 2023 in Jacksonville, Arkansas from complications of a heart condition.
He was born in Ventura, California to Fredia and Syrius Copeland.
Most of Butch's life he dealt with the automotive industry, by managing a Nissan Dealership and several car lots including his own personal business B-C Auto. He loved motorcycles and had many over the years. You could say it was his hobby. Most recently he started and grew B-C Sanitation from 3 customers to hundreds.
Butch was a member of Trinity Baptist Church for many years.
He is survived by Kay Copeland, his wife of 23 years; son, Michael Copeland (Missy); a brother, Billy Copeland (Iris); grandchildren, Trent and Karleigh, along with Richard Rizzo, Mark Rizzo (Janella) and Ricky Rizzo and many other grandchildren, family and friends.
A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday, April 27, 2023 at the Roller-Daniel Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM Friday April 28, 2023 at Trinity Baptist Church in Searcy. Interment will follow at Gum Springs Cemetery.

We here at the Searcy Transfer Station will miss Butch (BC Sanitation), he was always a kind spoken gentleman, we will surely miss him, our thoughts and prayers are with the family.
We at K&W Truck Repair are gonna miss Butch. He was a really nice soft speaking man. We will miss his smile he had each time he came by. He was quite a unique individual. May you rest in peace Butch! Our prayers are with his family.

I’m sorry to hear of Butch’s passing. I knew Butch for many years and enjoyed riding motorcycles with him. We made 2 trips to Sturgis, South Dakota. May he Rest In Peace. Paul Pierce
