Rita J. Williams, 65, of Ovett, passed away on April 18, 2023 at her home.
Mrs. Williams enjoyed working on crafts. She loved her dogs and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Aleck Fields; her mother, Ginger Ince; her son, John Williams; one grandson, Wyatt Braud and her sisters, Ruby King and Kay Fields.
She is survived by her husband, Wayne Williams of Ovett, MS; her daughters, Valarie Michele Braud (Blaine) of Walker, LA and Ginger LaRue Battaglia (Nicola) of Gonzalez, LA; her grandchildren, Ian Watts, Cora Braud, Cade Braud, Sage Braud, Liam Williams, and Winter Williams; her great grandchildren, Hudson Braud, Oliver Montgomery, and Isabella Braud; her sister, Shirley Von Kanel (Bobby) of Lexa, AR; her brothers, David Chavez of Prescott, AR and Alan Fields of Slidell, LA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at the Roller-Citizens Funeral Home Chapel.
