Carolyn Gene Hammack

of Sheridan, AR

November 30, 1941 - April 19, 2023

Carolyn Gene Hammack, 81, of Sheridan, Arkansas passed away on April 19, 2023 in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Carolyn was born to Charley and Imogene Harrison on November 30, 1941. Carolyn worked as a Deli Manager and enjoyed gardening, cooking and sewing. She loved taking care of her family and grandchildren and poured her heart out when her great-grandchildren were born. Her bonus great-grandson, Coby, was the love of her life. She had a major impact on her great- granddaughter Lily's life, being a constant source of support and love.

Carolyn was known for her deep love of her family, as she regularly sent care packages to them to ensure they were taken care of. There was even a time during COVID, when everyone was under quarantine, that Carolyn sent over some spaghetti to her granddaughter Brandi and her family with instructions on how to heat it. Carolyn was always known as being very vibrant and full of life. She enjoyed going to her great-grandchildren's sports games, enjoyed playing Bingo at the Senior Center and working the voting polls every year during elections.

Carolyn is survived by her Son, Ray Hamilton; 2 Grandchildren, Brandi Henderson (Chris) and Chris Hamilton; Sister, Anna C. Gibbs; Brother, Charles "Sonny" Harrison (Frances) and 4 Great Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; Husband, Iverson Hammack and two sisters, Sue Bollock and Betty Sturdivant.

A visitation will be held Saturday, April 22, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Roller-Alcoa Funeral Home in Benton, Arkansas.
