June 1, 1961 - April 8, 2023
Charlotte Mankin, age 61, passed away peacefully at home Saturday, April 8. 2023. Charlotte was born Thursday, June 1, 1961 to Billy and Carolyn McMillan in Helena, Arkansas. Charlotte was a true example of God's love. She was a loving, caring, giving, generous person. She would give her last penny or shirt off her back if she thought someone needed it. She never expected anything in return. She was always smiling and happy. She loved to sing and led the music at West Acres Baptist Church for several years. During her life at Mother Goose, she loved teaching kids, rocking babies and playing with them. She would always sing "Jesus Loves Me" to the babies while she rocked them. All the children loved her and she was known as the Baby Whisperer. Charlotte also loved doing crafts, riding to the river and drinking diet coke. Her positive outlook on her illness and on life was always "God's got this!".
Charlotte is survived by her mother, Carolyn; three daughters, Kalonie Williams (Clint) of Cody, Wyoming, Andrea Redd (Jeremy) of Thaxton, Mississippi and Ellen Roberts (Andrew) of Cash, Arkansas; seven grandchildren, Ashton Williams, Landon Williams, Hunter Williams, Clayton Redd, Piper Redd, Drew Roberts and Coulson Roberts; one sister, Sharon Wooten (Randy) of Helena, Arkansas; one brother, Tommy McMillan (Lori) of Conway, Arkansas and a host of family and friends.

Our deepest condolences to your family. She was a treasure.
Carolyn, Sharon & Tommy-
I’m heartbroken and very sad about Charlotte.
My family loved her so much and I was so grateful to have known her. She took the best care of my 2 children at Mother Goose, and I never ever worried one second when I dropped them off.
Her attitude was genuine.
Her love was real and unconditional.
She was like family to me and my children. My mom thought the world of Charolette.
She was an example of how we should love God.
There isn’t enough space in this guest book to say all I need to say.
I love y’all & I’m so sorry.
The Angels have wrapped their wings around our Ms. Charolette and now she is one and whole and caring for all of the tiny little Angels in Heaven.
With love
Laurie Mc
