Margie Gail Waggle

of Heber Springs, AR

February 21, 1944 - April 3, 2023

Margie Gale Waggle gained her wings on April 3, 2023 surrounded by her family, peacefully in the night. Margie was born on February 21, 1944 in Griffithville, Arkansas. Margie was one of six children. She is predeceased by her late Husband, Herbert Stephens; her parents, Charlie Waggle and Ruth Clause and her siblings, Helen Davis, Mary Goff and Freddie Waggle. She received a joyous welcome in heaven.

She was survived by her daughters, Betty Acree of Heber Springs, Mary Jo Hatley of Jonesboro; her son, Roger Stephens of Heber Springs; her four grandchildren, Amanda Horsley of Atlanta, Georgia, Angel Davis of Heber Springs, Brittany Jackson of Heber Springs and Tyler Stephens with the U.S. Army of Heber Springs and her two sisters, Bertha Thacker of Judsonia and Ruby Blount of Drasco. She was a loving Na-Na to six great grandchildren, who she loved very much.

Margie loved playing bingo and growing strawberries and roses. She loved hummingbirds and cardinals. Margie was a kind soul to everyone. She was also stubborn and fierce. She fought hard in this life for everything she had and believed in even down to her last breath. Her spirit will live on in her family for generations to come.

A Celebration of Life will be held at White County Memorial Gardens in July of 2023.
