Michael Jay Conner, 62, of Lead Hill, passed away Thursday, March 30th, 2023, at Cox South Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. He was born April 5th, 1960, in Harrison, AR, to Roy Alonzo Hornbeck and Betty (Grimes) Conner. He is preceded in death by his parents; step-father, Paul Conner; significant other, Tracey Massey, and grandson, Paul Chambers.
Mike loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and being in nature. If he wasn't at home, look for him in the woods. He was a very talented man in many different aspects of life. He loved his animals and taming and training animals that most couldn't. He enjoyed being able to teach his grandchildren about the outdoors and nature.
Mike is survived by his children, Tishia Turbyfill, Christy Ratliff and MJ Conner; grandchildren, Trinity Bonneay, Ryan, Neva, William, Kyle Chambers, Christopher, Elizabeth Ratliff, Makai Conner; along with a host of many friends and family.
A Celebration of Life was held Sunday, April 16, 2023, at Lead Hill City Park, Lead Hill, Arkansas.

Mike was like a brother to me. I've known him 45 years. He was always there when I needed a friend. I will miss him dearly. My thoughts and prayers are with his family
