Alfreda Davis Brown, 71, of Mountain View, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 in Champaign, Illinois. Alfreda was born on May 4, 1951 in Eloy, Arizona to the late Ervy Elmore and Evelyn (Harris) Davis. She was a member of Foothills Baptist Church for many years. On her free time, she liked to do crafts and loved spending time with her family.
Alfreda is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Shane and Gracie Brown of Crestview, FL and her daughter, Stephana Wilson of Newman, IL. She also leaves behind five loving grandchildren, Dalen Kain and Kason James Brown, Emily Marie (Jackson Russell) Barry, Madison Taylor Barrow and Macie Lynn Wilson. Furthermore, many extended family members and friends will grieve the loss, while remembering to celebrate her life.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Stephen T. Brown; her parents, Ervy Elmore and Evelyn (Harris) Davis; brother, Larry Davis and sister, Helen Hamilton.
Visitation is Wednesday, April 5, 2023 from 5:00-7:00PM at Roller Crouch Chapel in Mountain View, Arkansas. Funeral services are Thursday, April 6, 2023 at 1:00PM at Roller Crouch Chapel with Brother Gary Don Fletcher officiating. Alfreda will be interred in the family plot next to her beloved husband at Big Springs Cemetery in Newnata, Arkansas.
