Mary Ann Price passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2023. Known affectionately as ''Manny,'' she was born in Searcy on February 12, 1931 to Lee T. and Thelma Price. She is survived by her sister Dora Lee Showalter and was predeceased by her sister Henrietta Adams. She also leaves her nieces and nephews, Judy Irwin and Ken Showalter, Patti Chapman and Linda Crenshaw, and the late Danny Adams and Jeffrey Adams.
Mary Ann worked for many years at Southwestern Bell, and delighted her nieces and nephews with her ''telephone operator'' stories. She was a gifted amateur artist, and sent lucky recipients letters and cards illustrated with her whimsical drawings. Her artistic subjects were often some of her favorite things: flowers, animals, and candy.
A private service for family will be held for Manny, who will be fondly remembered by those who knew her.
