Diana Sue Brown was born on August 2, 1945 to John Henry and Nita Sawyer Brown in Little Rock, Arkansas. She passed peacefully from this life on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Sheridan Health and Rehabilitation at the age of 77. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Randy Brown.
Diana graduated from Sheridan High School then entered Cosmetology school. For many years, she worked as a beautician.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory two daughters, Mandy (Jim) Gardner of Benton and Shelly Sawyer of Benton. Her grandchildren who affectionately knew her as "Meme", Bo Sawyer, Trae and Tori Gardner and Coco Sawyer all of Benton. Three sisters, Annette (Kenny) Sites of Sheridan, Mona Williams of North Little Rock and Tami Ringo of Sheridan.
The family invites those who knew and loved Diana to a visitation at Sheridan Church of Christ on Wednesday, March 29 at 10:00 a.m. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m. also at Sheridan Church of Christ.
The family would like to offer gratitude to Gayle Pate of Arkansas Hospice for her compassionate care for Diana during her final months and to all the caring staff at Sheridan Health and Rehab for their extraordinary service to Diana.
In lieu of flowers, donations are encouraged in Diana's memory to Arkansas Hospice Foundation, 14 Parkstone Circle, North Little Rock, AR 72116. Memorials can also be given online at arkansashospice.org/foundation/donate.
Mona you blessed so many, as we reach out to you may you feel a return blessing for us for God.
Mona, my prayers are with you and your family. It is our faith that sustains us in the times of our deepest sorrow.
Diana was a classmate of mine at Sheridan. She was a beautiful lady and so fun. We had many laughs together. Praying that you will be comforted by sweet memories of her.
Diana was my roommate during my time being a resident at Sheridan Nursing Home. Praying God’s richest blessings of peace and comfort for you all.
Diana is now reunited with all our aunts and uncles and her beloved brother Randy we are not far behind her in our graduation to our heavenly home.
Annette, I am so very sorry for your loss. In high school we were good friends and had such fun together. She went with me a few years ago to our class reunion. She was loved by many.
