Jeannie Jeannette Hoffman, age 87, of Marshall, Arkansas passed from this life on Friday, March 24th, 2023 at her home. She was born in Eufaula, Alabama on December 7th, 1935 to John Lindsey Jordan Sr. and Elizabeth Rebecca Lindsey Jordan.
Jeannette was of the Southern Baptist faith. She left school after the 7th grade to marry Ranter Lee "Tex" Hoffman Sr. at the young age of 13. Together they moved to Searcy County and built their home. Jeannette had a caregiver's spirit. She worked for 22 years with Searcy County Area Agency on Aging and cared for many in and around the area. She loved her family and cared for them up until the very end. Her sharp wit, sense of humor and caring heart will be greatly missed.
Survivors include her children, Barbara Lee Hoffman Winder Bain of Marshall, Ranter Lee Hoffman Jr. of Terrell, TX, John Daniel Hoffman of Gainesville, GA and Joel Thomas Hoffman of Wilmer, TX; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and extended family who will also mourn her passing.
Jeannette is preceded in death by her parents, John Lindsey and Elizabeth Jordan; four infant children; grandson, Randy Joe Winder and two brothers, John Lindsey Jordan Jr. and Joel Walter Jordan.
Funeral services for Jeannette will be 11:00 AM Friday, March 31st, 2023 at Roller-Coffman Chapel in Marshall, Arkansas with Bro. Kerry Liggett officiating. Visitation will be 10:00 till 11:00 AM preceding the service. Burial will be in Red Hill Cemetery where Jeannie will be laid to rest beside her husband, Ranter Lee "Tex" Hoffman, who passed away in 2013. Bearers will be Ranter L. Hoffman Jr., Ranter Lee Hoffman III, Ricky House, Adam House and Ricky Fulps. Honorary bearers will be Joel Thomas Hoffman and John Daniel Hoffman.

Aunt Nette meant so much to me. I'll miss her so much. Wish I could be there to support those she left behind, but know I'm there in spirit and thinking of you all

Ms. Barbara, I'm sorry to hear about your mother. She did a wonderful job helping care for my mom several years ago. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Aunt Nette was a kind and gentle soul that loved the Lord I enjoyed her stories always a blessing to me send prayers to the Family she is singing with the Angels now
Jeanette (as we knew her) was a kind, gentle, and caring lady. Some 30+ years or so ago she was a caregiver for my mother. and we all loved her dearly. HY
Aunt Jeannette always had a beautiful smile and I loved hearing her story's and when she laughed
