We are sad to announce the passing of Manuel Earl Langston of Beebe, Arkansas. He died March 22, 2023 at the age of 77. Earl passed away surrounded by his children after a battle with colon cancer. Earl was born May 13, 1945.
Earl was preceded in death by his mother, Geraldine Harris Williams; stepfather, N.C. Williams and baby sister, Rita Williams Kane. Earl's surviving siblings are Mitchell Langston, Wayne Langston and Lynda Langston Hall.
He was the proud father of Robert Earl Langston, Susan Langston Pelz and Brooke Langston Mitchell. The great joys of his life were his seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. You could often find Earl reading in his recliner, or watching a Western with several of his grandkids running around his house. He also loved to go to the sale barn early Saturday mornings and then get a breakfast at one of the diners in Beebe.
During the Vietnam War, Earl served in the USMC (United States Marine Corps) from July 1,1963 - June 30, 1967.
A visitation will be held Monday, March 27, 2023 at 10:00 AM with the funeral beginning at 11:00 at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home in Searcy, Arkansas. The burial will follow immediately at Antioch Cemetery.

I have known Earl for many years in construction in Little Rock. Condolences to all the family members, may he rest in peace no suffering now.
I went to school with Manuel in Dyess, Ar. until he moved, he was a good friend and always had a smile. Prayers to his kids and family.

Earl was always so kind when I would stay over with Susan or come to their house before basketball games. I am praying for you all and that the Lord would comfort as only He can do.

I remember he an Payton going to every Hogs game around for many years. Y’all both were always so close to him. I loved and adored him since I was 9 years old.
