Jerry Dean Sutton, 87, of Mountain View, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 21, 2023.
Jerry Dean was born on Sunday, December 1, 1935 to the late James Edward Sutton and Rosielea (Collins) Sutton in Kahoka, Arkansas.
Jerry Dean was a kind man who loved his family deeply. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend. Jerry was a mighty deer hunter. He savored every moment spent in the woods hunting. Jerry was a master of all trades and built two homes that he and his wife lived in through the years. Jerry Dean loved to take his wife, Etta, out dancing. Jerry and Etta were married December 1, 1984 and spent thirty-nine beautiful years together.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Etta Sutton; two stepdaughters, Gwendolyn Yvette (Ronnie) Jones, Carla Rachelle (Jeff) Edington; a multitude of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Edward Sutton Jr.; sisters, Marjeta Brown and Dorothy Craig and a host of friends and family who will miss him dearly.
Jerry is preceded in death by his parents; two sons, James Lester Sutton and Tony Wayne Sutton; one grandson; brothers, Jay W. Sutton and Lyndal Sutton and sisters, Francis Barham and Roberta Branscum.
Visitation will be held at Foothills Baptist Church, Saturday, March 25, 2023 from 12:00 pm-1:00 pm.
Funeral Services will also be held at Foothills Baptist Church, Saturday March 25, 2023 at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at Bickles Cove Cemetery at Mountain View, Arkansas.
Roller Crouch Funeral Home in Mountain View, Arkansas is in charge of arrangements.
I was shocked and so sorry to learn of Jerry's passing...My most sincere condolences to you, Etta, and to all his family and many friends. I lift you all to Jesus for comfort and strength.
