William Everett Campbell, Jr., 93, of Batesville passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2023.
William was born October 10, 1929 in Strawberry, Arkansas to William E. Campbell and Pauline (Wallace) Campbell.
William was a member of West Baptist Church. He served in the Air Force and later became owner of Campbell Oil Company; which he started with his late wife, Mary.
He is survived by one son, William Craig Campbell (Linda) of Strawberry; two daughters, Denise Magness (Chris) of Magness, Vicki Holt (Bruce) of Conway; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
William is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Mary Ruth Campbell.
His grandchildren serving as honorary pallbearers are Brandon Magness, Stefanie Vann, Kyle Magness and Courtney Magness.
The family would like to thank everyone for their thoughts.

Steve and I loved Bill and Mary Ruth. Bill was our first Sunday School teacher when we joined West Baptist Church. We learned a lot from Bill. He taught us a lot about the Bible and the Lord. He also taught us what it was to be good stewards in our everyday lives. We also shared our birthday, Oct 10th. We are so saddened to hear of Bill’s passing. Sending much love and prayers for comfort to the entire family.
