Lee Edward Lewis, 79, of Bentonville passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at the Circle of Life Hospice House. He was born June 21, 1943 in Jonesboro to Robert and Monterie (Mobley) Lewis. Lee and his dad were saved and baptized in August of 1957. He faithfully served as an ordained deacon at Prospect Baptist Church. Lee proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1964 to 1968, he was stationed in Guam during the Vietnam era.
Preceded in death by his parents; son, Matt Lewis and brother Jerry Lewis.
Survivors include his loving wife of 57 years, Marilee Lewis; daughter, Jennifer Smith; his beloved granddaughter, Katie, whom he always called Tadpole; his "Lil Sis", Mary Wright; daughter in love, Amanda Day Lewis; cousin, Wayne Christenberry, with whom he had many daring adventures during their childhood; many other cousins, nieces and nephews that he loved very much.
A graveside service will be Friday, March 17, 2023 at 1:00 pm in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Wynndel King officiating.
Visitation will be from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm at Roller Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 West Washington, Jonesboro.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to, Circle of Hope Hospice House, 1201 NE Parkway, Bentonville, AR. 72712
