Doris Lee Rupard, of Jonesboro, AR, passed away Thursday, March 9, 2023 at St. Bernard's Hospital in Jonesboro at the age of 82.
Doris was born October 30, 1940 in Brookland, AR to Paul and Ora Lee (Brewington) Troutman. She worked for New Hope Specialized Industries in Searcy, AR and was a member of Woods Chapel General Baptist Church. She loved cleaning, plants, "bossing" and she was a natural caregiver.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 58 years, James Merle Rupard and three grandsons, Jack Rupard, William Douglas Rupard and Tyler Griffin Rupard.
Those left behind to cherish the wonderful memories of Doris include her sons, Randy (Carol) Rupard and William Doug (Mary) Rupard; a daughter, Kimberly Rupard; grandchildren, Josh (Chelsea) Rupard, Jordan (Nick) Doyle, Madison Bass and Max Rupard; great-grandchildren, Porter and Weslynn Doyle, Reagan Bass and Reece Rupard and a brother, Don (Lucille) Troutman.
Funeral services will be 3 pm Sunday at Woods Chapel General Baptist Church, 175 Hwy 230 E, Brookland, AR 72417 with Rick Hathcoat officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Log Cemetery.
Visitation will precede the service from 2-3 pm at the church.
In lieu of flowers the family requests lasting memorials be made in Doris' honor to either Woods Chapel General Baptist Church or to Arkansas Children's Hospital, 1 Children's Way, Little Rock, AR 72202.
Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She was a very sweet lady and I have many found memories of her from our younger years at church.

Doug, I am so sorry to hear that your Mom passed. Maybe it is because our Momma’s are there for us every day when we are growing up and Dad is working, it just seemed lots harder when she passed. If you need us for anything at all, just let us know. Love you and Mary
