Bobby Lewis Willis, 83, of Batesville, Arkansas passed away February 28, 2023.
He was the husband of Donna (Stroud) Willis, with whom he shared 63 years of marriage.
Born in Spring Mill on May 30, 1939, he was the son of Floyd and Edna (Moore) Willis.
In his early years, he was a punch press operator in California. Upon moving back home, he worked at Arkansas Lime Co. (Limedale) and started his own carpentry business, which he had until retirement.
He was a member of the Cushman United Methodist Church. For 33 years, he was a member of the Bethesda Belle #322 Masonic Lodge. In 1999, he became a member of the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry in Little Rock, Arkansas, where he held a 32nd degree ranking.
He enjoyed spending time with family. He loved to play the guitar, sing, and listen to music.
Survivors include his wife, Donna (Stroud) Willis of the home; his children, Denice Greenfield (Tony) and Cameron Willis (Angie) both of Batesville, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Matthew Greenfield (Natalie), Aaron Greenfield (Christina), and Brittney Tucker (John); five great-grandchildren, Zoie and Gabby Greenfield, Alayna and Rylee Tucker, and Max Greenfield.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Pansy Hicks.
Pallbearers are Matthew Greenfield, Aaron Greenfield, John Tucker, Jimmy Shell, Jason Shell, and Josh Gillmore. Honorary pallbearers are Jim Shell, Dalmus Gillmore, and Larry Riley.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 4, 2023 at 2:00pm at the Cushman United Methodist Church with Leonard Tharp officiating. Burial will follow at Barnes Cemetery.
A visitation will be held Friday, March 3, 2023 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the Roller-Crouch Funeral Home.
It’s been years since I’ve seen Bobby. I have memories of visiting him and his family when we were young. My deepest condolences to his family.
