Robbie Lancaster, 90, of Mountain View, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at Stone County Medical Center in Mountain View, Arkansas. Robbie was born on December 23, 1932 to the late George Odis and Alma Maye (Fletcher) Powell at her parents' home in Fairview, Arkansas. She married Olen Lancaster on April 10, 1952 and they were married for 54 years. Along with working on the family farm, she periodically worked at the Shirt Factories in both Marshall and Mountain View. In her later years, Robbie enjoyed maintaining her flowers and working word puzzles. Robbie was baptized in Roasting Ear Creek at a young age and was a member of White Water Missionary Baptist Church in Mountain View, Arkansas.
Robbie is survived by her sons, Curtis (Marcina) Lancaster and Danny (Sandra) Lancaster; granddaughter, April Lancaster; sisters, Irene Martin and Gerene Treat and a host of extended family and friends.
Robbie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Olen Lancaster; brother, Leonard Powell; sisters, Syble Moore, Alba Avey; brothers-in-law, Hubert Moore, Kenneth Avey, Raymond Martin and Leon Treat; sister-in-law, Christine Powell; two nieces, Barbara Avey and Phyllis Avey and nephew, Larry Moore.
Visitation is Tuesday, February 28, 2023 from 1:00-2:00 PM at Roller Crouch Chapel in Mountain View, Arkansas. Funeral services will follow the visitation beginning at 2:00 PM with Brothers Robb Arnold and Phil Sutton officiating. Interment follows the service at Fifty Six Cemetery in Fifty Six, Arkansas.
Pallbearers are Kenny Avey, Shawn Treat, Mitch Martin, Don Powell, Max Newcomb, Saber Treat and Saxon Treat.
The family wishes to extend our sincere appreciation to Dr. James Zini.
Roller Crouch Funeral Home in Mountain View, Arkansas is in charge of the arrangements.
The family requests attendees wear a mask due to various health concerns within the family.
