Shirley Louise Decker, 78, of Searcy passed away at her home surrounded by her family on February 16, 2023. She was born November 1, 1944 to her parents, Walter Theodore and Sarah Mitchie Prater Anderson in Lewisville, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Robert Whaley and Terry Whaley and one son, Clifford Briscoe.
She is survived by three sons, Donald Chisum, Walter Chisum and Keith Chisum; two daughters, Donna Chisum and Sara Kirby; two sisters, Janice Buck and Georgie Glidewell; many grandchildren; great grandchildren; along with her nieces and nephews and other extended family members and her special friend, Ms. Ella ''Gail'' Watson.
Shirley worked as a certified nursing assistant for many years and loved caring for her patients. She loved watching birds and doing jigsaw puzzles and puzzle books. She enjoyed her favorite TV shows and spending time with her family. Her family and friends were very important to her and the time she spent with them was very important to her.
There will be a family visitation February 23, 2023 with visitation from 12:30-1:30 PM at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home Chapel. All services are under the direction of Roller-Daniel Funeral Home.
