Frankie Buie, age 43, of Zinc, Arkansas, passed away on February 9, 2023, at his residence. The son of Orlin and Mary Diane (DeVore), Buie was born on April 21, 1979, in Harrison, Arkansas.
Frankie was a member of the Zinc Fire Department, Mayor of Zinc for eight years. He was a friend to everyone and never met a stranger. He loved growing vegetables, painting, and woodworking and loved animals, wild and domesticated. Frankie enjoyed working at Friends Orchard.
Frankie is preceded in death by his mother, grandparents, Viola and Robert Buie, Troy Franklin and Mary DeVore, and uncle, Troy Allen "Bubby" DeVore.
Frankie is survived by his father, Orlin Buie, Zinc, Arkansas; brother, Allen Buie (Kaitlyn) of Zinc, Arkansas; aunts, Rita and Maurine Buie; and Kathy DeVore.
The memorial service was held at a later date.
