Maribeth Tanner Nardecchia passed away peacefully with her husband and children by her side on February 11th, 2023 in Houston Texas after a lengthy illness.
Maribeth was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on August 24th, 1957. She graduated from Parkview High School in 1975 and worked for Crest Engineering before moving to Batesville, AR in 1980 where she met her husband, David Nardecchia. They were married in North Little Rock, AR at The Old Mill on April 24th, 1983. She worked for Brown & Root Construction Co as a draftsman for five years and then went back to school at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, AR earning a Mechanical engineering degree on December 17th, 1999. She later received a Non-Traditional Teaching License and taught math at Rural Special in Fox, AR and later at Midland High School in Pleasant Plains, AR where she retired from in June of 2015.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard D. and Mary Tanner; her aunt, Helen Hickey and sister in law, Gail Tanner all of Little Rock, AR. And also preceded in death by three nephews, Jeff Tanner of Little Rock, AR, Richard Alan Tanner Jr. of Forsyth, MO and Holden Thomas Tanner of Clearlake, TX.
Maribeth is survived by her husband, David of the home; her siblings, Dale Tanner and wife, Sarah, Russell Tanner and Richard Tanner and wife, Laura and her sister, Martha Hays and husband, Bob of Bentonville AR. Her children, Shannon Bisbee and husband, Billy of Rio Rancho NM, Paul Nardecchia and wife, Melissa of Lewiston ID and Jordan Kazzee and husband, Tyler of Cave City, AR. Her grandchildren, Caleb Bisbee, Cayla Garcia and husband, Roger and great grand-sons, Elijah Joel Garcia of Cameron, TX, Devin Nardecchia, Derick Nardecchia and Kryiana Nardecchia all of Lewiston, ID and Jayson Joplin and Jaycob Joplin of Cave City, AR. Maribeth is also survived by sixteen nephews and twelve nieces, many cousins and friends, one of which is John and Dee Jeansonne of Ville Platte, LA.
A visitation will be held on February 16th at Roller-Crouch Funeral Home from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. There will be a graveside service on February 17th at 2:00pm at Kyler Cemetery in Southside, AR with her brother-in-law, Bob Hays officiating.
Pallbearers are Dale Tanner, Richard Tanner, Russell Tanner, Lee Earnhart, Jayson Joplin and Jaycob Joplin.
Honorary Pallbearers are Rick Swietet and John Jeansonne.

Today I learned of Maribeth's passing. I am so sorry for your loss. I was acquainted with her when we worked at the power plant construction near Newark, AR. Maribeth was a pleasure to have been acquainted with.

In reading all the loving memorials, you can tell she touched so many throughout her lifetime with her belief in education, teaching, coaching and community involvement. We had the pleasure of meeting Dave and Maribeth thru my sister and bnl, Dee and John Jeansonne. We enjoyed many good times together when they came to visit them. Maribeth was a fine woman who you couldnt help but love the more you knew her. Such an intelligent. Fun-loving and kind person.
