Jimmy (Jim) Dale Mulanax, age 68, of Harrison, passed away on February 12, 2023, at his home. The son of Louis and Osea (Shearer) Mulanax, Jim was born on January 23, 1955, in Protem, Missouri.
Jim owned and operated North Arkansas Oak. Prior to that, he worked for M&M Ready Mix for over 20 years. Jim could be found most days in his wood shop. His grandchildren were his pride and joy. Jim enjoyed picking them up from school with a snack. More recently, seeing the grandkids after school was the highlight of his day.
Jim is preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Osea (Shearer) Mulanax; grandson, Kellan Ray Mulanax; brothers, Louis Ray, Lonnie, Doug, Harold Dean, Gary (Chub), Charles David and sisters, Margaret and Delopha Flippo.
Jim is survived by his wife, Fredia (Taylor) Mulanax of the home; son, Nathan Mulanax (Tricia) of Harrison; grandchildren, Beckett, Emery, and Tobin; brother, Donny Mulanax; sisters, Judy Estes, Kathy Bass, Debra Young, and several nieces and nephews that will miss him.
The Graveside service was Wednesday, February 15, 2023, in Maplewood Cemetery.
