As look at the photo y'all choose to use I remember how many times I saw that same smile in Cash Savers. Leon was a gentle giant..always kind and helpful. Sending prayers and condolences to the family . Hope y'all can celebrate Leon's going home..his life's journey is complete. Praise God !
When I was a young boy, my father and I moved into a house on Richmond street in Wichita, Kansas. My parents were divorced so my father needed someone to watch me when he worked 24 hour shifts as a fireman. Across the street on Richmond lived the Lamb family and I stayed with them. They treated me like family, and I probably spent more time with them than at my own home. Leon "zippy" was just a year or so older but we were good friends. I learned many things from the Lamb family, country music, chocolate gravy, and getting by. I'm sorry to hear about Leon, but I'm very thankful for his and his families time in my life.
I'm truly sorry to hear of Leon's passing he and I had the opportunity to work together at Cash Savers for a short period of time he always was and will always be one of my favorites you and your family are definitely in my prayers
We are so sorry for your loss. Our prayers are with you all
