Betty J. Hinkle Storey Cash Martin, 96, of Mountain View, Arkansas departed this life on January 22, 2023. She was born on Wednesday, December 15, 1926 in Batesville, Arkansas to the late John Alva and Alma (Lancaster) Hinkle.
Betty dedicated more than forty years to nursing, working for various doctors, the nursing home and Stone County Medical Center. She was happiest when she had someone to care for. Betty was a generous and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, but she had an ornery streak a mile wide. One of her favorite things to do was to go fishing with her Aunt, Mae Decker. She passed that love of fishing to most of her children and grandchildren.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Bill Hinkle; husbands, Bailey Storey, Edwin Cash and Herbert Martin.
Left to cherish her memory are two sons, Barry Storey (Tori), Tim Storey (Denise); grandchildren, Tonya Gower (Andy), Bob Storey (Chasity), Kristy Storey, Shanya McIntire (Jeremy); nephew, Terry Hinkle and ten great-grandchildren. She was a special woman and will be sorely missed by family and friends alike.
A graveside service will be at 1PM on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at Flatwoods Cemetery in Mountain View, Arkansas. Brother David Campbell will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Drew Gower, Clay Gower, Cole Gower, Shad Storey, Cason Storey and Miles McIntire. Honorary Pallbearers will be Marin Archer, Zayli Storey, Mia McIntire and Maddox McIntire.
Roller-Crouch Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Dearest Family,
I am so very sorry to hear of your loss. For sure Ms Betty was a delight to be around to make you laugh to make you shake your head or to get you heated from a tease from her.
She loved her family and her work. I enjoyed knowing this special lady.
