R.C. "Bob" Freeman, 77, died Sunday, January 15, 2023 at the Magnolia Regional Medical Center. He was born in Paris on November 27, 1945 to the late Otis and Claire Freeman. Bob graduated from Paris High School in 1963 and attended Arkansas Tech University. He married Mary Beth Barber in the spring of 1966. He joined the Navy and Mary Beth and Chad joined him in California from 1966-1968. He was on the USS Kearsarge during the Vietnam War. After he was discharged, he worked as a salesman in several places. Like his dad, he was a natural salesman. His outgoing personality was a major asset.
Along with his parent, he was preceded in death by his sister, Emma Lou Freeman Truscott.
He is survived by his son, Chad Cox Freeman and his wife, Rita of Paris. He is also survived by his sister, Margaret Freeman Pearson of Russellville. And he has several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Thursday, January 19, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Roller Funeral Home in Paris.
The funeral service will be held at 10:00 Friday morning at Roller Funeral Home in Paris followed by burial in Ellsworth Cemetery near Midway, Arkansas.
Pallbearers will be David Freeman, Jeff Snider, Jerry Freeman, Mike Moore, Mitchell Ford and Rodger James.
Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Schwartz and John Pearson.

Chad so sorry for the loss of Bob. I have many wonderful memories of the times spent with Bob thru out the years. He was a special friend, lived life to the fullest and loved you dearly. Praying for peace and comfort for you at this time.
Papa Jack and I are so very sorry for the loss of your father. Just know that you have a large support system. You have been a great son and your father will always be with you. We are always here for you.

Bob was a very good friend of mine!! We spent many hrs together in the past!
