Jerry Clifton Ragan, 71, of Benton, Arkansas passed away peacefully in his home in Benton on January 14, 2023.

Jerry was born to Ross and Vivian Ragan on December 2, 1951. Jerry grew up with a heart to serve and enrolled in the United States Army when he became of age. Jerry proudly served his country and went on to do two tours for the Vietnam War. When Jerry left the Army, he began a fulfilling career in carpentry and enjoyed construction work. Jerry would spend his free time outdoors hunting and fishing.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife Barbara and their two children, Jerry Alan (Kaye) Ragan and Donna Ragan. Cody, Trent, Ryan, Clifton, Clayton and Kevin are his grandchildren. Jerry is survived by his siblings, Leroy Ragan, Royce Jean Ragan, Chris Ragan, Kenny Ragan, Carolyn Ragan, Janet Ragan and Brenda Ragan, as well as many other beloved family members. Jerry is preceded in death by his loving parents, siblings and other cherished friends.

There will be no funeral service held for Jerry at this time. The family just requests that you think fondly of him when you are outdoors hunting and fishing.
