Ruth Fern (King) McElroy, 93, of Paris, Arkansas passed away peacefully on January 12, 2023 at Cabot Health and Rehab in Cabot, Arkansas. She was born on September 5, 1929 in Falmouth, Kentucky to her parents, Clark and Artie Lee (Miller) King.
She was married to Billy Bob McElroy in 1960. She was a believer of Jesus Christ and regularly attended Church Services and worked as an Avon Representative for over 40 years. Her volunteer career included the Paris Senior Center, Paris Health and Rehabilitation, North Logan Hospital Auxiliary where she was awarded the Volunteer of The Year, American Legion, the Logan County Museum and Project Compassion.
She is survived by her three sons, Michael McElroy and friend, Chris Ewing of Charleston, Stephen McElroy and wife, Debbie of Vilonia and Curtis McElroy and wife, Kristy of Ward; one sister, Ruby Baker of Alexandria, Kentucky and 5 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 p.m., with the funeral to begin at 2:00 on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris. Burial will follow in Caulksville Cemetery under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, please make contributions in her memory to any of the organizations she faithfully volunteered at.
Curtis & family, we have sweet memories of your Mom from attending church at 1st Baptist Paris. Of course,my parents & she frequented the Paris Senior Center together daily and had many fun times there. We pray for confort during the coming days.

Curtis and family~~I had lost touch with where your mom was; but, know she was a special lady. I remember her through church and her Avon years. She loved her family. Prayers for comfort.
