Dempsie White, 69, of Batesville passed away January 11, 2023.
He was born January 26, 1953 in Batesville to Ellis Kenneth White and Veda Eudene (Ford) White.
Dempsie was a member of Cushman Baptist Church, who enjoyed spending time with his grandkids, watching car races, working on heavy equipment and being on Facebook.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Mae (Dewitt) White of the home; one son, Rickie D. White (Susan) of Cushman; four sisters, Mary Fern Creel, Truie Olinger, Jana Ray, Joy Neel (Harley) all of Batesville and two grandchildren, Morgan White and Dempsie D. White.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two infant brothers.
The family wishes to give a special thank you to Caring Hands Hospice.
Pallbearers are Larry Dowell, Butch Miesner, Tommy Crenshaw, Mike Fraley, Billy Jones and Quincy Creel.
Funeral services will be held Monday, January 16, 2023 at the Roller-Crouch Funeral Home at 2:00pm with Bro. Joe Jackson and Bro. Larry Sellers officiating. Burial will follow at the Finley Creek Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 1:00pm until 2:00pm prior to the service.

I am so sorry about Dempsey. He was one of the best. He will be missed by so many. He loved joking with us on Facebook.
My prayers are with you all. I pray that our Lord will wrap His Loving arms around you all and comfort you during this time.

Our hearts break for the loss of Uncle Dempsie, he was definitely one of a kind. I’m proud to say, he was definitely a character, anyone that knew him. Loved him.
