Margaret Maggie Rose Barker, 84, of Searcy, Arkansas passed away on January 10, 2023. She was born on December 10, 1938 in Stamford, Connecticut to the late John T. and Helen E. Thompson Cammarota. Mrs. Barker was also preceded in death by her husband, Thurman Junior Barker; one sister, Laberta Cammarota and one brother, Anthony Cammarota.

Left to cherish her memory is one brother, John Zito, Jr; five children, Anna (Chris) Angotto, Keith (Brenda) Barker, Fonda Quattlebaum, Karen Shawn and Dennis (Rebecca) Barker; eleven grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren; her special friend, Lynda Mobley; along with many other extended family members and friends.

Maggie worked at a job where she found great joy being with children all day, at Sidney Deener Elementary School, where she saw to their basic needs. The children came to love her as much as she loved them. Outside of work, she loved to crochet, garden, cook and most of all, shop. She loved being with her family and her friends.

Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, January 16, 2023 at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home Chapel in Searcy.
