Jim Harper owes me baseball cap. Ripped mine up which was a gift from my grandfather back in 1976
I am so sad to read of Gerald’s passing. I was taken back to my school days in Shirley with Mrs. Harper (Ollie) being my Home Ec. Teacher and when she talked about Gerald she always had a smile on her face and twinkle in her eyes. I miss those days. Jimmy and Kathy I am very sorry and you are in my prayers.
So sorry to hear of your dad's death. I just saw the obit today. Prayers for you and you family.
Jimmy and Kathy so very sorry to hear of your Dads passing. We were out of town when we heard but would have loved to have visited with you Kathy. Haven’t seen you in years. Please take care and know our thoughts and prayers are with you both.
Kathy, it has been along time since I have seen you. But I remember your dad always trying to help everyone at his station, me included. I so grateful to have known your mom and dad. They made Shirley a better place to live. Cathy and I are sorry for your loss, but remember that God is faithful in taking care of his children.

RIP Uncle Gerald. In memory and honor of Gerald Harper I want to say how much you were loved by all including my Dad, Jack Finton. As a child I remember you having fun trading and swapping beagles and automobiles. You both had the best of times together. When I think of you I think of what a n example you were to all men. Your love of family, your work ethics and your love for Aunt Ollie and your children and grandchildren as well as all family. When I watched the movie, The Notebook I saw you and your love for Aunt ollie. You never left her side. You lived your entire life as an honorable man and Im proud you were my Uncle. You always surprised me with your sharp mind and I enjoyed the conversations we had the times I visited with you. I know you are reunited with all the ones that have gone before us and that you are watching over the family as we journey on. You will be greatly missed but never forgotten. We shall meet again one day.
Jim I know how hard it is to deal with the loss of a father and I am praying for peace and strength for you during this time as well as for Cathy, Heather, Amber and the other family members. May God bless you all. With love ,
Your cousin Lisa Finton Creasey
