I want you to know what Martha meant to so many. First, she was such an example of a woman who put the Lord first in her life. She was truly a Biblical scholar, teaching Sunday School almost until the day she died. Second, she loved her family. Martha did not have many close relatives, but we who studied under her count ourselves as part of her family. Third, Martha was just like the Martha that Jesus loved so much. She always was about doing things for others, but she did often pause to sit at the Master's feet. She valued her friends and held them dear. She loved her church as well. I count it as one of my many blessings to have studied under Martha and to have called her "friend." I hope I can be just a glimmer of her light. As she often said, "Lord, hold us tight." I know she is holding on to Jesus now.
Martha will be missed by so many. A wonderful lady and always a good friend. Enjoyed getting to know her after joining the joyful women’s Sunday school class and Martha was the class leader. She opened up the Bible and Gods word to me in such a loving way. My condolences to the family.
Our Hearts are Heavy and So Saddened with Grief over the loss of our Dear Friend and Colleague Martha. She was a wonderful and loving person, who will be Sorely Missed. Our Sincerest Condolences to the Family and other loved ones. Our Sympathies go out to you and Prayers that Comfort can be found in God's Grace and Mercy.
