Daddy, I miss you very much! I thank God that he blest me with such a wonderful, earthly Dad. You gave me so many great memories. You taught me to love God and took me to church. I think of you everyday . Until we meet again! I love you always!

Carol, I'm so sorry. S. D. was a lovely man and loved you unconditionally. I know you took such loving care of him after he became ill. We're promised our reward later but we both know our reward is just taking good care of the one we have promised to take care of in our wedding vows.
I’ll miss going to car shows with you and drinking rootbeer. Keep watching over us. Love your great granddaughter Marley Sue
It was an honor to be your caregiver, friend, and granddaughter. You are such an amazing man! I’ll miss seeing you each day, but so happy you are now pain free. Don’t worry about your Carol Jean she’s in good hands. Love you papaw.
So sorry to know this. Condolences to the family. May God be with you
