Robert Van Neal, 82, of Greenbrier, Arkansas passed away December 27, 2022, peacefully at home. He was born on September 26, 1940 in Higden, Arkansas to the late James Perry and Dorothy Dyer (Van Nada) Neal.
He is preceded in death by his parents; two children, Terry Joe Neal, Barbara Gail Neal and his first wife, Billie Sue (Ivie) Neal.
Van was a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church. He was the most kind and gentle man you would ever meet. Van and Mrs. Dean enjoyed traveling the west and other adventures. He loved to read books, especially Louie L'Amour. Van had other hobbies like word search puzzles and was an avid history buff, a passion which he passed on to his grandson. He loved his family and his church family.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Rebecca "Dean" (Vickery) Neal; children, Anna Moore and husband, Jack, Robbie Neal and wife, LeAnn; grandchildren, Robert Moore, Justin Moore, Kera Peck, T.J. Neal, Robert Neal, Josh Neal, Casey Owens, A.J. Neal, Tony Neal; several great-grandchildren; stepchildren, Melinda Powell, Jeanette Higgs, Tim Branch and extended family and friends.
Visitation services are 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 31, 2022 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Clinton, Arkansas. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at the Morganton Cemetery in Bee Branch, Arkansas.

Worked for Van at FMC/Snap On - he was a good and fair boss who knew all the jobs that were expected to be known by those he supervised.
We were so sorry to hear of Vans passing. We are praying for you today and the days to come. Van was a very kind hearted man who was loving. He will be greatly missed.
