Billy G. ''Bill'' Threet, 81, of Searcy, Arkansas, went home to the Lord December 26, 2022. He was born July 8, 1941 to the late Robert C. and Flora Mitchum Threet.
Bill loved the outdoors, enjoying fishing and deer hunting, gardening, woodworking and cooking. He especially loved doing his favorite hobbies with his children and grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Carolyn Gilbert and one brother, Bobby Threet (Betty Ann).
Left to cherish Bill's memory are his beloved wife of 62 years, Gloria Threet; his son, William Threet (Pamela); his daughters, Teena Henson (Jimmy), Laura Printz and Susan Blalock (Ed); grandchildren, Kaleigh Frank (Dillion), Kaila Pianalto Broussard (Alex), Joshua Printz (Abigail), Katie McWatters (Sam), Jaclyn Vienola (Jeff) and Ryan Gray; great-grandchildren, Claire Printz, Benjamin McWatters, Jayden Leneham, Evelyn McWatters, Anderson Klar, Quinton McWatters and Ramzy Vienola; one sister, Jo Nell Kelly (Hershel); one brother, Phillip Threet and many nephews and nieces.
Bill was a minister for 57 years and during that time God led him to pastor several churches starting in Yakima Valley, Washington, Toowoomba and Brisbane in Australia and several churches in Arkansas. He was currently a member of Oakdale Missionary Baptist Church in Judsonia, Arkansas. Bill also enjoyed 10 years serving families at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home. He will be missed by all who knew him.
A visitation will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, December 31, 2022 at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home in Searcy, Arkansas with a service to follow at 11. Interment will be at Crestlawn Memorial Park in Conway, Arkansas.

Gloria, Teena, and family, We are saddened to learn this news of Bill's passing. I (Gene) have known Bill since 1951, in Sheridan, where we were neighbors on North Rose Street and we went thru the Sheridan School System together. I had no idea at the time that Linda and I would later move to Conway and that Gloria's family would become part of our Church family for many years. We will miss running into him upon occasions, but we know where he is today---in the presence of his Lord. May our God of all hope and comfort fill your hearts with peace. Bill was the one that received my husband, Bill McGill, when he passed away in 2009. Then later I started working with Bill at the funeral home. He was the one that trained me. He was so special to me We will miss him and want Gloria and the whole family to know that yall are in my prayers!
