Brian was the third son of five born to my cousin Lawrence and wife Helen. This family was very close to mine and many hours were spent together, particularly on Sundays. Lawrence and Brian shared a special thread that was lovely to behold.

Moving to Arkansas removed them from our venue but not from our hearts. Brian was always enthused about any sport you wanted to discuss, particularly on the phone!

Miss you, Sweet Brian.

I was saddened to hear about Brian’s passing. I was grateful for the privilege to serve as his pastor through a small season of his precious life. Richard Williams was faithful to bring him to church and make him feel included on special events at the church. I was grateful to get to visit and pray with him as his pastor and a chaplain when he was living at the Springs. Peace be with his family. He often talked of each one of you.

So sorry to hear of Brian’s passing. Then I think of the beautiful reunion he is having with his family. Brian was a childhood friend, we grew up in the same neighborhood. Lots of memories of the Pughs. I especially remember Steve, being such a protective brother. Love and prayers to the family.

Without a doubt, Brian was a very special person and friend to all of his HHS classmates. I have such fond memories of Brian all throughout all of our school years and beyond. I remember our 40th High School reunion, he and I sat and talked for a long while. He will definitely be fondly remembered.
Rest in Peace, my friend.
