I remember Kelton when he had the cigarette store. He was also Mayor. My son got into trouble for what he did and I marched him up to Keltons and made my son apologize for what he did. I asked Kelton if there was anything he wanted my son to do. He said no but I do appreciate you bringing him in and owning up to what he did..apology accepted. You will be missed.

Roger I’m so sorry for y’all’s loss. I will say a prayer for you my friend .
Sorry for you loss, I have missed seeing and talking to Kelton since he has been out of business. He was one of a kind!
Kelton and Jan gave me my first public job when I turned 16 and he worked with me to schedule hours around school hours and activities. While working for him, I made a lifelong friend who ended up introducing me to my husband. I will always be appreciative that he trusted me to be his employee and the work experience I got at the grocery store. Prayers to the family during your time of loss.
So very sorry to learn of Kelton’s passing. Lots of good memories from childhood playing with Charles and Roger at our grandparents houses in Shirley. My thoughts go out to the family.
Charles, Roger and Kelvin,
I'm was so sad to learn of the passing of your Dad. He was not only my cousin, but a good boss. I have fond memories of catching a ride back to Conway from Shirley with your family when I was a student at the University of Central Arkansas. The three of you made it a fun trip. I also enjoyed working for your Dad and Mom at the corner IGA in Shirley for a summer. Love and prayers to all of you.
