J.B. Mills, 96, of Greenbrier went to be with the Lord, December 7, 2022. He was born October 29, 1926, in Greenbrier to the late James and Myrtle Mills. J.B. served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He loved to travel his favorite trip was when he went to Israel. He also enjoyed reading his Bible, walking, telling jokes and hearing new jokes. J.B was the oldest member and Deacon at Springhill Baptist Church. He worked faithfully each month at the food pantry and taught Sunday school for decades. J.B. is preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Pauline Glenn Mills, parents, two brothers, Garland and Nelon Mills, and sister, Arzell Stacks.
He is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and many friends.
The family would like to thank Tamra Gentry, Jane Garvey, Dee and Zoe from Hospice Home Care for the loving care they provided.
In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to the food pantry at Springhill Baptist Church or Hospice Home Care.
Visitation will be Sunday, December 11, 2022, from 2:00PM-4:00PM at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Greenbrier. Funeral Service will be Monday, December 12, 2022, at 2:00PM at Springhill Baptist Church in Greenbrier with burial following at Springhill Cemetery.

Mr. Mills was a wonderful person and he will be missed. He is fully restored and in heaven now, and can take all of the long walks he wants! Prayers to his family!

We all thought a lot of JB and Paulene such a sweet couple He and Daddy tried to tell the best stories on each other. I know the church will miss him dearly. I hate that things have to change . Mom and Dad always took us by thier home when we came back for visits. Love you and will miss you Pam and Earl Cherry
