November 12, 1946 - December 4, 2022
Shirley Ann Campbell Holliman passed away on December 4, 2022 after her battle with cancer. Shirley was surrounded by her family. Shirley was born November 12, 1946 in Marshall, Arkansas to Elton and Lucille (Rose) Campbell. Shirley met her one and only, the love of her life, Donnie Ralph Holliman and they married in 1963. They cherished their love and marriage and of this union, they received their greatest blessing, their daughter, Stacy Dawn.
Shirley was a Christian and loved the Lord. She attended Harriet Assembly of God Church. Shirley worked and retired from Capital Mercury Shirt Company where she was over Quality Control. With her job, she traveled all over the United States working in Quality Control as well as Jamaica and other places to teach others the importance of producing good quality products. She was well known and respected in the industry. Shirley was a hard worker and took great pride in her position and its importance. Shirley literally adored her daughter and grandsons and spoke proudly of them as well as their newest addition, her precious and beautiful great grand-daughter Kaisley "Prissy" and wanted nothing more than to show her love. Shirley also loved her nieces and nephews and showed them love just as if they were her own. Many of them stayed with her and Donnie and always felt love and being at home. Everyone who knew Shirley knew she loved to shop and spent countless hours shopping and "finding" just the right gift for everyone. Even when "Granny Lucy" wasn't able to go, Shirley would still manage to load her in the car and push her around in her wheelchair shopping for hours on hours; just because that is what she wanted to do. Shirley loved to give to others, was thoughtful and kind and never had a selfish thought when it came to making sure everyone had everything they needed and wanted. She passed this down to her daughter, grandkids, nieces and nephews as well as everyone she loved.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Stacy Dawn Bixler; grandchildren, Hunter Casto and wife Kelsey, Trapper Bixler and Jeffrey "Bull" Bixler; her precious great-grandbaby, Kaisley Mae Casto; siblings, Connie Campbell and wife Lorene and Betty Wallis; sisters-in-law, Sherry Holliman, Lucille Thomas, Sandra Masters and Libby Neville; brother-in-law, Oz Diffey; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Shirley is preceded in death by her parents, Elton and Lucille Campbell; her husband, Donnie Holliman who passed away in September of 2022; and brother-in-law, Jim Wallis.
Funeral services for Shirley will be 1:00 PM Thursday, December 8th, 2022 at Harriet Assembly of God Church with Bro. Donnie Horton and Bro. Don Campbell officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 till 8:00 PM Wednesday, December 7th, 2022 at Roller-Coffman Chapel in Marshall, Arkansas. Bearers will be Jim Preddy, Tommy Lindsey, Randy Clark, James Watson, Darin Holliman and Chad Mathis. Honorary bearers will be Donna Gay Lane, Joyce Watts and Pat Halsted. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery in Marshall, Arkansas where Shirley will be laid to rest beside her husband, Donnie.
I'm sorry to hear about Shirley. She was a constant presence in my childhood and the Martin Box community. I remember her smile, and the time she pierced a few young girls' ears. I still wear earrings and think of her. Sending thoughts and prayers to the family.

We want to extend our sincere condolences to the family of Shirley Holliman. The family has been some of our dearest friends for over 80 years. Shirley's grandmother, Lucille was my baby sitter when I (Harley) was about 4 years old. To Stacy and children and Betty and Connie and Lorene, we pray you will be comforted by the Lord Jesus. We were unable to attend the funeral because we had a family member in the hospital that day with a heart attack. So sorry for your loss, and we know you will be re-united soon.
May her family find peace through their many good memories. Shirley was my very fist friend when we moved to Arkansas when I was 2 years old. She was such a good friend we insisted on naming my younger sister Shirley.
Sorry for your loss.
