Carolyn Sue Pederson, 78, of Paris, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2022 in Oark. She was born on May 3, 1944 in Greasy Valley, Arkansas to her parents, Buford Dorrough and Ollie Dorrough Teague.
Carolyn raised her family on a dairy farm in Scranton for many years and later worked as a caregiver for many families. She was known for always keeping her house spotless and loved to sew. She attended Trinity Chapel Church in Clarksville, Arkansas.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by one son, Kevin Roper; two sisters, Laverne Patterson and Gail Williams; eight brothers, BC, Clifford, Bill, Sam, Elmer, Gerald, Raymond and Donald Wayne Dorrough; one niece, Karen Pennington and three nephews, Gene Adams, Randy Williams and Lynn Dorrough.
She is survived by one daughter, Denise Ralph and fiance, Clint Bailey of Oark; one son, Jamie Roper of New Blaine; One sister, Ann McCartney of Ratcliff; two brothers, Lyndell Dorrough of Branch and Shorty Dorrough and wife Diane of New York; six grandchildren, Ty Roper, Derek Pannell, Tasheena Roper, Alyssia Pannell, Brooke Pannell and Jasmine Roper and seven great-grandchildren, Jaiden Pannell, Rayleigh Thompson, Gracie Roper, Kemauri Roper, Wyatt Roper, Bentley Pannell and Scarlett Rainey.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Monday, November 28, 2022 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris with burial to follow in Oakwood Cemetery under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.
