Elizabeth Jane Marshall LaRue, age 87, of Bergman, died Friday, November 18, 2022, at Hospice of the Hills House, in Harrison, Arkansas. She was born on July 8, 1935, in Harrison. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie C. and Walsie M. (Wright) Marshall; her husband of 30 years, John E. LaRue; her daughter, Janet L. Archer Curtis; and her stepson, Wayne L. LaRue
.
Elizabeth is survived by her children and their spouses, Sherry Archer Keeter and Larry of Lakeview, Terri Archer Branon and Steve of Bergman, and Alan Archer and Gail of Harrison. She was ''Momma Liz'' to Randy Gillam and Tommie, Sharma LaRue, Dennis LaRue, Gayla, Deanna Mullins, and Cam.
Elizabeth is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, one soon-to-be great-great-grandson; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Elizabeth was a graduate of the Bergman High School class of 1953. She enjoyed bowling, camping, trips to the ''Blue Hole'', gardening, canning, watching NBA basketball, the Game Show channel, the Razorbacks basketball and football, and calling them ''Hogs'', Wooo Pig Sooie!!
She retired from Levi Strauss and was a member of the Levi Retiree's group that meets once a month for a luncheon.
The graveside service was Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at York Cemetery. Visitation was Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home. The interment was in York Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers were Elizabeth's family and friends.

I remember spending lots of time with my mom and dad Jake And Mary Cain at Uncle John And Aunt Liz or that's what I called her. I'm so very sorry for your family's loss you are in my thoughts and prayers and the day's to follow prayers ðŸ™.. I know John was waiting with open arms to welcome her back home along with her brothers and sister's and I know my mom and dad are all up there laughing and telling the tall tales like they used to do.. love you all..
I loved Aunt Lizzie from the first minute I met her. She was ‘real’ and you got what you got! Fun loving, funny, witty, loving, caring and full of valuable wisdom. I will miss her so much. Hugs to all the Fam!

Sherry and family I loved working with Liz at Levi's she always made the work day fun. Our hearts go out to all of yall. Sad to be without your mom I would like to say it gets easier we both lost our moms in the same year been 13 years it is still hard.
Aunt Liz will always be with us. She was definitely a great Lady, we will miss her so much.
Liz and I go back to 1st grade at Bergman and since that time always a cherished friend. I enjoyed our infrequent visits and valued her blunt and honest opinions. My heartfelt sympathy to her family.
Liz was a fun gal. I always enjoyed being around her.
