Bob McKinney, age 78, passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 in West Helena, Arkansas. He was born on Saturday, October 11, 1944 to the late Rondo Campbell McKinney and Ovella McDaniel in West Helena, Arkansas. Mr. Bob was a member of Fourth Street Baptist Church in West Helena. He enjoyed hunting squirrels, fishing and gardening.
He is survived by his wife, Pat McKinney; five children, Gail McKinney (Rob), Veronica Hawkins (David), Denise Edwards (John), Dustin Hamilton (Amanda) and Teresa Burchfield (Darryl).
He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, R.C. McKinney and sister, Judy Quattlebaum.
Pallbearers will be Darryl Burchfield, Dustin Hamilton, Gary Morris, Johnny Martin, Steve Darnell and J.C. Wilson.
Honorary pallbearers are Larry Wilson, Darnell McGee, James Roberts and Lawrence Holloway.
A funeral service for Bob McKinney will be held on Monday, November 21, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Fourth Street Baptist Church in West Helena, Arkansas. A visitation will be held prior to the service at 1:00 p.m. at Fourth Street Baptist Church in West Helena. Brother Lance Madden will officiate. Burial will follow at Marianna Memorial Park in Marianna, Arkansas.

I am so sorry for your loss; I was the Life Associate for Bob here at Shelter. He will be greatly missed.

Sorry to hear this he was a good man,I use to go eat breakfast with them at fourth st. Men's breakfast several years ago,he always talked to me when I seen him out. He will be missed ! Prayers for the family !
Bob was our Insurance Agent for many years and he was a dear friend to our family. He gave me a reference for my first job.

Pat we just read that Bob passed. I tried to visit Bob several times when Karen and I would return to West Helena and it never seemed to work out. I’m sure you don’t who I am but Bobs mom and my dad were brother and sister. Bob would come out to our house on 4th street and hunt I was 9 Bob was 13 I guess. Bob was around a lot and we loved each other. We are sorry for your loss. I know I’ll see him one day again. God bless you.
