I wish I had read the obituary sooner. I would have come to the viewing. I am very sorry about your loss. I believe seeing the picture that Claudie Ray was a young man I met back in the 1950s.
My mom and dad had a cafe on Scott St. near Terry Dairy. Several of the guys who worked at the
dairy would eat lunch there. I was dating one of them and that is how I met Claudie Ray. Another one of the fellows was Dwight and another they called “Uncâ€. There were others but I cannot recall their
names.
If I recall correctly Claudie lived on Scott St. He had a maroon colored car and he tried to teach me how to drive, but I never could figure out how to drive a manual shift car. I have found a couple of pictures of Claudie that I will take to Roller Owens to be forwarded to Claudie’s family.
Rip uncle Claudie hope ur dancing in the sky somewhere. I love you and I will miss you tons â¤ï¸.
I will miss Claudie Ray. He was a great brother in law. On a recent phone call I told him “Claudie, I want you to know that I love youâ€. His reply was “I know you do, and I love you tooâ€. He and my sister, Lorene, always made me feel special. I miss them both.
Tommy Allison.
Sorry for you loss . Praying for you and your family
I can’t think of a more benevolent soul than my Uncle Claudie. Always loving, always humorous, always caring. Our world needs more like you. You will be missed. Love you, Tash xoxo
Love you Daddy. Give Mama a hug and kiss for me.
