Johnny Allen Setzer, age 70, of Summit, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2022 in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
Johnny was born October 17, 1952 in Summit, Arkansas to Samuel Allen and Vivian June (Burris) Setzer. A lifetime resident of the area, Johnny was an avid Razorback fan and an avid fisherman, having fished in many tournaments. He was a Baptist by faith. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and uncle.
He is survived by his wife, Mary, of the home; his son, Eric of Mountain Home; his sisters, Linda Casteel ( Bob) of Summit, Brenda Carter of Valley Springs, Paula Colton (Mike) of Compton, Arkansas and two grandchildren, Aiden Setzer and Brenton Setzer.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Terry Lee Setzer and a sister, Sharla Rose Setzer.
A memorial service will be 2:00 pm Monday, November 14, 2022 at Roller-Burns Funeral Home Chapel with Howard Morris officiating.

We’re so sorry to hear of the passing of John and are praying for the family. Sorry we were unable to make the trip to be with you for his memorial. We will always hold fond memories of John. We always enjoyed the time we spent with him and regret not getting to spend more time. Love you all.

I am so sorry to hear Johnny has passed away , he was such a wonderful person and boss to me for many years and never seems to have a bad day . He was always patient and helped out and truly cared about his people .
I missed him when he retired but knew he would enjoy traveling and spending time with his family .
