Dianne Gail Stepp, 76, of Marianna, Arkansas passed away peacefully on Monday, October 31, 2022 in Cabot, Arkansas.
Dianne was born on July 6, 1946 to Clyde and Russie (Ramsey) Reece. She and her eight siblings grew up on a farm in Lee County, where she learned the meaning of hard work picking cotton. She married Amos Stepp and became a homemaker (and farmhand when the need arose). They farmed in Lee County, eventually making their home in Marianna, where they raised their children, Scott and Aimee. Life became exponentially better with the birth of her beautiful grandchildren, which she loved and adored, Khakee Kuykendall, J. Scott Stepp II and John Wheatley Stepp. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, Nanoo/Gagy (grandmother), aunt and friend. She was always generous with those around her and it was evident she was a child of God. He guided her in all things, and it is comforting to know she is in His loving arms. She will be missed beyond measure by her surviving children, Scott Stepp (Angie) of Marianna, Aimee Stepp of Beebe and her bonus daughter, Shea Bratcher Hart(Blake) of Marion and her grands, mentioned above. She is survived by four siblings, Glyn Dale Reece (Linda) of Knoxville, Terry Reece Ripper of Marianna, Obeta Reece Coolidge (Lee) of German Town, Tennessee and Pat Reece Clifton of Como, Mississippi along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Amos Stepp; one brother, Lamar Reece and three sisters, Elma Reece Williams, Delphia Reece Johnson and Bonnie Reece Rowland.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at Marianna Memorial Park in Marianna, Arkansas.

So sad to hear of Diane’s death. I knew Diane & Amos back in the 70’s when our children were small. She was a lovely lady & a fabulous mother.

Aimee and Scotty, your sweet mother meant the world to me. She became my pen pal after my mother died and walked with me thru some very dark days. Years later, when my son was born, she reminded me what my mother would’ve done if she had been here, and showered me with package after package of baby clothes, sent a huge flower arrangement to my baby shower, and covered me with her love. I will always treasure what she did for me and I will miss her for the rest of my life. Thank you for sharing her with me. â¤ï¸
